As the saying goes: “Good results come with hard work, discipline and consistency.” Bringing this belief forward, this has always been Teacher Eunice’s motto in life.

Until today, Teacher Eunice remembers what her teacher once told her: “Enjoy the learning process. Only when you love the subject, you will see results.” Indeed, through hard work and effort, she managed to do well in her major examinations and had shown the fastest improvement amongst her peers. With discipline and consistency, Teacher Eunice maintained a solid foundation and fell in love with Math and Science! She was also the top in her physics and math cohort before her university days.

Teacher Eunice has the ability to foster good relationships with her students, hence, her classes are always engaging and fun which makes her one of the popular teachers in Habitat! Her innovative methods of teaching, coupled with her bubbly personality had proven effectiveness in the students’ learning process. With her constant encouragement and revision, many students achieved their great results under her guidance and coaching for the past 8 years.

Ms Song has been in the education sector since 2012.

She believes education gives us a knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. Knowledge makes us capable of interpreting things and it develops in us a perspective of looking at life. Taking this belief forward, Ms. Song is passionate about helping our young students achieve more than having good grades in their academic results. Our centre strives to provide an interactive yet thought-provoking lessons to encourage students while ensuring they achieve their best academic results.

We aim to provide a conducive environment with a balanced and well-rounded education, instilling the right core values and impactful life skills. Thus far, developing our young to their maximum potential to become a better and responsible leader.

“Bringing the world of science into classrooms!”. This is Teacher Leon’s motto when it comes to teaching!

Back in the day when Teacher Leon was still a student, Science and Math were his favourite subjects. Through hard work, grit and an eagerness to learn, Teacher Leon has managed to master core examination techniques, and was the top of his cohort in his Secondary School, Junior College and University.

As an ode to the many teachers who have inspired Teacher Leon, Teacher Leon has chosen the path of education and hopes to inspire and rekindle the joy of learning to students who are struggling or have lost interest in their studies.

With more than 8 years of teaching experience, Teacher Leon has managed to enlighten numerous students with his interactive teaching methods and effective problem-solving techniques. His teaching methods have been proven to be highly effective and popular amongst the students, with many of them choosing Teacher Leon as their tutor from Secondary 1 all the way to Junior College.

Teacher Leon believes that scoring well in examinations starts with an interest in the subject. He keeps his classes interactive by sharing real-world science and relates it to the syllabus.With his passion and commitment towards teaching, he strives to inspire and spur future generations to come!

Fun Fact: ​Teacher Leon was once a geologist and has travelled around the world, conducting researching on natural disasters and climate change.

Effective teaching is fundamentally about understanding and meeting a student’s learning needs. Teacher Rachel has had a proven track record and a knack for identifying the areas the child is struggling in and to effectively coach them to achieve demonstrated results. Her passion in helping students achieve their full potential, coupled with her calibrated approach in explaining the concepts to her students regardless of their initial competency levels make the difference and help her students along their path to achieving their dreams.

Science has always been Rachel’s favourite subject since she was first exposed to it in primary school. She continues to share this with her students in class in the last 7 years of her teaching experience.

Many students find JC Math daunting initially and Teacher Kelvin finds immense joy in guiding students past the initial hurdles in making the subject more accessible.

Through a problem-based approach fine-tuned over more than 14 years of teaching experience, Teacher Kelvin aims to equip students with the important concepts and techniques fundamental to each topic. This allows them to then take charge of their own learning journey as we progress from the more standard questions to the tougher, more unconventional ones that require strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Students have described Teacher Kelvin as “helpful”, “approachable”, “friendly” and “knowledgeable”, and Teacher Kelvin always mention that it brings a lot of satisfaction in him knowing he has played his tiny part in helping past students achieve their goals.

Every student learns differently, so Teacher Kelvin look forward to learning together with them by tailoring his guidance for each individual with their own unique style and progress.

Teacher Max has been a Math tutor for over 10 years. He specialises in JC H2 Math tuition and has helped many students score distinctions for the subject at ‘A’ Levels. He completed his Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University in 2.5 years instead of the standard 3 years.

He also holds memberships in the Singapore Mathematical Society, the London Mathematical Society and the Association of Mathematics Teacher Education.

Equipped with years of experience from teaching students from various backgrounds and Math competencies, Mr Max is capable and confident in helping any student score distinction at ‘A’ levels.

He strongly believes that every student has a different style of learning and tailors his teaching techniques to suit each individual student’s learning style.

He takes great pride in his own set of concise notes that aids students in learning H2 Math in a systematic yet enjoyable way.

Louis is a passionate Math teacher with 8 years of experience in teaching secondary E.Math and A.Math. He explains mathematical concepts in a simplified manner, thus, making it easier for his students to understand and appreciate Math better.

Over the years, many of his students have benefitted from his guidance and seen tangible improvements in their academic results for Math subject. Louis is a dedicated teacher who works closely with his students in helping them to surpass their personal best.

SMU Bachelor of Business Management (Magna Cum Laude)| Dean’s Lister

Nicholas is an inspiring Math teacher with over 6 years of experience in teaching Math. His belief is that the best way to teach any student is to cater to their personal style of learning, and adapt accordingly to both their pace and attitude. With this, students have seen quick and sustained improvements to their grades, and maintain the same level of consistency after achieving better results under his coaching.

Casey is a dedicated and responsible Chemistry teacher who has helped many students achieve good improvement in their Chemistry subject. Since her school days, she enjoyed Chemistry as a subject and had achieved full rank points in A level science stream and went to Chemistry Engineering in NUS.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, Casey makes sure her students understand the logic behind the concepts instead of memorizing. She is motivated to help students excel and achieve good grades in their Chemistry subject.
